2020 Taipei Baby and Mommy Expo

This year was a very tough year for all of us, but BabyLux are so lucky to have our headquarter in Taiwan, the safer place on earth these days, so that we could still participate in an exhibition. 2020 TBME was held last weekend, we have a long weekend here. Let me take you to see our Taiwan TBME.

▼ What I like most about Loulou is their swaddle. It is soooooo soft, no wonder why the price is so high compare with other swaddle, hahaha. But I said it very fair, the fabric is so good, I even bought one for myself, can’t sleep without it. And out distributor let customer feel the fabric to make them feel confident with Loulou swaddle. It is like when you buy something with higher price you must want to know the value.

▼ Exhibition is a good chance to introduce new product, so here it is! Loulou silicone bibs, it is selling very well in Asia. Once again, customer will confident to buy when they can see and feel the material. Loulou silicone bibs material is so soft and the pocket is pretty big and so well designed, it can catch your baby food nicely and avoiding all the mess.

▼ This year Matchstick Monkey have a new animal friend, Lion, Penguin, Crocodile, Elephant, and Giraffe. It would be best if they can create a cartoon from these animals, haha. Matchstick Monkey and animal friend VS the world.

April: I would recommend the matchstick monkey - it is fun and colourful, easy to pop in the changing bag yet sturdy enough that my son can have a good chew and I don't have to worry that bits will break off. I love the little nobbly bits on the back of the head as I can pop teething gel on it and my son can chew away. It is easy to wash with warm soapy water and the colour hasn't faded at all.

How did this product make your life easier?

Philipa: This is a great toy for teething babies. Although I was initially put off by the monkey design, it has really grown on me. My baby loves it! It has a teething gel applicator which is a great addition and it can be put in the freezer to provide extra relief for a teething baby. It is easily cleaned in the dishwasher or steriliser.

Would you choose this product to win?

Jennifer: Yes definitely, if this happens to get lost I would buy another in an instant. It should win for its versatility, ease of use and clever design. Margaret: I would not change anything about this product. It is such a great teething toy. It really does give my little girl some much-needed relief. What is STEAM activities?

1. Sand print game

This activity trains the sensory and motor nerves at once. They will practice recognizing shapes, developing their creativity in arranging sand into something.

2. Play dough

3. Color stamp

Playing color stamps can be another way to stimulate children's creativity. Itis cheap and easy, parents just need to prepare white cardboard and food coloring.

Dissolve food coloring with water. Give an example to the little one by dipping your hand in the liquid color, then make a stamp on the cardboard.

Not only hand stamp, try the other parts of the body such as feet, fingers, or use other objects such as banana and tree trunk. Banana stem will produce a unique shape.

4. Puzzle

Training your little one playing puzzles is also fun! They will practice creatively while sharpening logic. Find the right pieces and arrange them until they are become a new figure.

You can try Plus-Plus, they only contain one shape only, which two plus signs. One shape with endless possibility! Designed and made in Denmark, this deceptively simple shape is the ultimate in open-ended play.

5. Arrange the shapes

Before introducing your baby to lego, try to teach them using a bigger size of toys, like soft blocks, or you also can use a simple tools. Arrange small boxes of used drugs or food packaging for example.

But you need to remember to prepare at least several different forms. You can take advantage of plastic bowls and different size of glasses. He will slowly recognize what size is. If they already feel bored with simple tools, then it is the time for soft blocks. Don’t forget to choose a soft block with attractive shape and colors.

6. Puppet plays

Whose little kid doesn't like to play dolls? Every babies must have at least 1 doll at home. Yups, usually parents use it to practice their communication skills.

Dolls are moved followed by voices from Daddy and Mommy, as if the doll itself is speaking. From this activity children learns to recognize sounds. Well, after a bit later, try to let him direct the puppet show himself.

Use the doll at home, hold one for you and give one more for the little one. Invite children to talk through dolls, after a while they will understand and try to play alone.
