Hashtag Kidz Teether Chewbuddy Review

It’s been a while since my kid first time use Hashtag Kidz, I bought it because I saw the concept design is so cool. Teether and snack container 2-in-1, luckily I live in a country that not that humid, I can take my kid snack on-to-go and it is still crunchy.

Simple introduction for Hashtag Kidz

Hashtag Kidz is an American brand, now instead of teehers and pacifier cases, they also have bibs, which the texture is really really nice, really soft and smooth. When you touch the bib, you will know what I mean. I haven’t bought it yet, but I will definitely buy it!

All Hashtag Kidz products are made from a planet-friendly material. And they are the winner of National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, 2018 Baby Maternity Magazine Preferred Choice Award, 2018 Creative Child Magazine Product of the Year Award, and 2018 National Parenting Product Awards.

The reasons why I love Hashtag Kidz

I love Hashtag Kidz simple yet very functional design.

Double hygiene protection - they have the flip ‘n fold design makes the first protection is when you flip ‘n fold, and the second protection is when you put the teether inside the pacifier case or any case.

Easy to grib - I love how light it is, there are lots of teether on the market, but a lot of teether is actually too heavy for a baby to grab it, the other thing is the handle design is so perfect for my baby to hold.

So many stimulating surfaces to soothe sore gums, I really love the antenna, so many of the teethers out there target the front teeth and not the back, and Hashtag Kidz does both.

Yes, as you can see, my kid love it so much. And actually I bought another teether for her, a very cute teether, but she doesn’t really enjoy it, from my point of view, I think she feels that the other teether was too heavy and there is no antenna, which makes her hard to find a point that really can rub her teeth.

So, basically this Hashtag Kidz bee teether is my life saver. I strongly suggest you to purchase either bee or bug, because those two designs have the antenna.

And for the last, if you ask me to give 3 words to describe Hashtag Kidz, they will be cute, functional, and it’s very thoughtfully designed.

Best teether material for babies - Wooden teether, natural fabrics, or silicone teether?

We all knew choosing a teether for your little one’s aching gums could be so complicated. A teether is an object which when chewed by the babies give relieve to their sore gums. The teethers are available having the different bases such as wooden, BPA-free plastic, natural rubber, and silicone. Which teether material is the best one for my babies?

Raised your hand if you have tried to bite your baby teether? I have tried both silicone and wooden, I prefer chewing my bubble gum, but the feeling of biting teether was not that bad and weird, hahaha. Frankly saying, I like silicone teether better than wooden, but this is my personal opinion apart from what best for my baby. Silicone teether is way cuter than wooden one, colorful and attractive.

Which teether material is the best one for my babies?

You’ll definitely want to avoid any silicone teether that contain BPA, PVC, or phthalates. Why?

• BPA or bisphenol-A is a plastics chemical that mimics estrogen and disrupts the body’s hormonal systems. It’s particularly harmful for pregnant women, babies, and young kids. Though most regulatory bodies, including the FDA, will tell you BPA is safe in the small quantities that appear in plastic products, many companies have chosen to produce and market BPA-free plastics. Excellent! Except for one small detail: Many companies simply replace BPA with BPS — bisphenol-S — which is just as toxic, if not more toxic, than BPA. Bottom line? Just because a product is touted as BPA-free doesn’t mean it’s safe.

• PVC or polyvinyl chloride is the third most common plastic in the world — and also the most toxic. It’s bad stuff, and you definitely don’t want it in something your kids will put in their mouths.

• Phthalates are chemicals added to plastics to make them soft and supple. (PVC is actually hard and brittle so to make something like a squeezy toy requires the addition of phthalates.) Phthalates don’t bond to plastic, though, so they leach out over time. Babies who suck on teethers containing phthalates will be ingesting a known carcinogen. Baby Center has an excellent list of phthalate names so you can check labels.

If you’re super-concerned about plastics or your baby’s reactions to rubber, then wood and fabric teething toys are the ones for you. There are plenty of good ones to choose from. The teether made by using wood are safer because of having natural, chemical and plastic free features.
